Cassandras Cubby is a family-centred speech pathology service led by Cassandra Schmidt, a warm and highly skilled Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and proud member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Newly based in the New England Region of NSW, Cassandra brings a wealth of experience from working across diverse settings in Melbourne and Queensland, now offering personalised support for families in regional communities. Cassandra supports a broad client base ranging from infants through to 18 years of age (with occasional exceptions based on individual needs). She offers evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy for children with a wide range of communication, language, speech, social, and feeding needs. Cassandra is actively engaged in ongoing professional development through the SPA Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program, ensuring her approach remains current, innovative, and aligned with best practice.
